Privacy Policy
Effective June 12, 2026
SiteVolt is a two-person studio. We collect as little as possible, and we don't do anything clever or creepy with what we do collect.
1. What we collect
- Your email address, if you join our monthly email list.
- Build information: business details, photos, copy, and preferences you share with us during a website build.
- Payment details are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor, never by us. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Anonymous usage data: aggregated analytics about how visitors use this site — pages viewed, approximate (city-level) location, device and browser type — collected via Google Analytics, which sets cookies to do this. We don't use it to identify you personally.
2. What we do with it
- Build and maintain your website.
- Send the monthly email you signed up for: one short email, unsubscribe anytime with one click.
- Remind you before any billing charge.
3. What we never do
- Sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing.
- Run advertising or retargeting trackers, or sell your data to advertisers. We use Google Analytics for basic, privacy-respecting visitor stats — nothing more.
- Send you anything you didn't ask for.
4. Who else touches your data
Only the services needed to run things: Stripe (payments), our hosting provider (your website's server), our email service (the monthly list), and Google Analytics (anonymous site-usage statistics). Each only receives what it needs to do its job.
5. Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, just email us. If you cancel your plan, we hand your site and content over to you and delete what we no longer need.
6. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date.
